R. K. Engineers & Manufacturers

We have been at Plot No. 189 in Sector 24 for quite a while now. It gets pretty loud around here with all the machines running throughout the day, but that is just how things go in manufacturing. Most of us here have grease on our hands by lunchtime. R. K. Engineers & Manufacturers isn't some fancy corporate office; it is a workshop where we actually make things. Some of the guys have been here since the early days, and we all know where every tool is kept, even if the place looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We deal with various metal parts and custom fabrication jobs that come through the door. Usually, it is just a lot of measuring, cutting, and welding. Sometimes the weather gets really hot inside the shed, but we keep the fans going and stay on schedule. People find us easily enough in Sector 24 because we are right there on Plot 189. We do not spend much time on the computer unless it is for some technical drawing or checking an order. Most of the work is done out on the floor. It is steady work, and we like it that way. If someone stops by, they usually see us in the middle of a big project. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in, making sure the measurements are right before anything leaves the gate. It is honest work, and we have been doing it for years.
