We are located at 2102 in Jawahar Colony, which is right near the Dayanand School on Air Force Road in Faridabad. Being so close to the school, we get a lot of noise during the morning drop-off and when classes get out, but we’ve grown to enjoy the energy of the area. This part of Haryana is pretty busy, and our little corner for Philips Electronics India Ltd fits right in. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easier when we have heavy items to move around. We have a few old filing cabinets that have been with us since we opened, and the floors are that grey stone that stays cool even when it's hot outside. We spend our days answering the phone, checking lists, and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a very straightforward place. There isn't any fancy art on the walls or leather sofas in the lobby. We just have what we need to get through the workday. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so someone is usually sweeping every couple of hours. We know the shopkeepers nearby, and we usually get our lunch from the place around the corner. It is a basic, honest operation where we just focus on the work that needs to be done. We’ve been here long enough that the local landmarks like the school are how we tell people to find us. No fuss, just regular work for the staff here.
