National Hydro Electric Power Corporation Limited

We are based out of Sector 21D in Faridabad, specifically in the Manglam Regency Apartment at B 26. It’s a residential area mostly, so it doesn't feel like those big industrial zones. We focus on hydro power here. It’s a lot of technical work and planning. Haryana can get quite hot, so being in an apartment office helps a bit with the heat. We have engineers and office staff all mixed in together. Most of the day is spent looking at charts or coordinating with people at the actual dam sites. We aren’t the ones out there building the turbines every day, but we make sure the logistics are handled. The office is a bit cramped at times because of all the blueprints and technical manuals we keep. We’ve been at this Plot No 12A for a while now. Neighbors know us as the power people. We don't do much advertising. People who need to find us usually know where we are. It’s steady work. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just sit around talking about the old days. We just want to make sure the electricity keeps moving for everyone. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time without making a big fuss about it. Just keeping things running is enough for us to worry about every morning.
