We've been over here at B-7 in Sector 59 for quite a while now. Most people know the spot because we are right opposite JCB India Ltd on the Mathura Road. It's a busy area in Ballabgarh around the 23rd milestone. We mostly spend our days working on packaging machines. It's dusty work sometimes but someone has to do it. The shop floor is usually loud with the sound of metal and tools. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. It's just a bunch of us who know how these machines are supposed to run. We started small and just kept going. When a machine breaks down, someone has to fix it or build a new one, so that’s what we do here. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s honest. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break, then get back to the welding or the assembly. We see the heavy traffic on the main road all day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some businesses come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put. If you ever find yourself near the JCB factory, you’ve probably passed our gate. We don't spend much time on the computer, we'd rather be out back checking the parts or making sure the dimensions are right on a new frame. It’s just how we operate. Nothing too complicated, just daily work in the shop.
