Microlub Engineers & Veenu Gears

If you find yourself down Arya Nagarmohana Road, you’ll probably see our sign for Microlub Engineers & Veenu Gears. We are tucked into M.C.F-87/B Block. It's a workshop where there is always the sound of machines humming or someone clanking tools together. We focus a lot on gears and engineering parts. It’s a bit of a messy job, really. There’s grease on the benches and metal shavings on the floor most days. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and trying to figure out why a part isn't fitting just right. We aren't a huge factory with thousands of workers, just a group of us who have been doing this for years. Sometimes a customer brings in a broken gear and asks if we can fix it or make a new one just like it. Those are the days that go by fast. The office is small and usually has too many papers on the desk, but we know where everything is. It’s not about having a shiny showroom. It’s about getting the work done so the machines our customers use can keep running. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We take our tea breaks together and talk about what needs to be finished before the sun goes down. It's just honest work in a busy part of town. We don't mind the noise and the oil because it means we are getting things done.
