Mehta Sweet House

Mehta Sweet House is located over in Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Nagar. You can find us at Plot No 3118, specifically in Shop No 1 and 2 right on Gali No 4. We’ve been operating out of these two shops for a while now. It’s a tight-knit neighborhood, and being in Gali No 4 means we see the same neighbors every single day. We start our work early in the morning when the street is still quiet. There is a lot to do, from cleaning up to getting the first batches of sweets ready for the glass cases. Having two shop spaces helps us keep things organized, though it still gets crowded when everyone finishes work and stops by on their way home. We aren’t a big corporate chain, just a local spot where we do the work ourselves. The atmosphere in Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Nagar is usually pretty lively, and we like being right in the middle of it. We don’t use any fancy machines; it is mostly just hands-on work in the kitchen. Some days are long, especially during the holiday seasons when everyone wants something for their guests. We just try to keep up with the demand and make sure there is enough for everyone who walks in. It’s a simple life running a sweet house here. We just take it one day at a time and focus on the people who live in our lane.
