Manish Sweet Corner

Manish Sweet Corner is located in Sector 16, right in the heart of the city area. We have been making fresh mithai here for quite a while now. The kitchen starts working very early because the fresh milk arrives long before dawn. You can usually smell the sugar syrup and the frying ghee from all the way down the street. It is a busy spot, especially in the evenings when people are coming home from their jobs. We have a few small benches for sitting, but most people just stand and eat or take boxes away for their families. The address is 16/A, and it is easy to find if you are familiar with this part of Faridabad. We make the usual stuff like gulab jamun, laddu, and barfi. Sometimes we run out of hot samosas by four in the afternoon because the school kids buy them all up. It is a bit loud and messy sometimes with the constant chatter, but that is just how a sweet shop is supposed to be. I spend most of my time checking the display trays and making sure the glass counters are wiped clean. We don't use any fancy machinery here; most of the sweets are shaped by hand. My father started this small business, and I just kept it going. We know most of our regular customers by their first names. It is a local place for local people who want something sweet.
