M. P. S. Engineering Works

You can find M. P. S. Engineering Works over at number 50 in the Vishkarma Industrial Complex. Being in Mujessar means we are surrounded by other workshops, so there is always the sound of hammers or grinding wheels in the air. Our shop is a practical space, built for heavy lifting and getting things fabricated. We don't have fancy furniture or a reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us near the lathes or the welding station. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially when all the machines are running at once, so we keep the big fans going. We've been doing this engineering stuff for a long time now. Most of our tools are old but they still work better than the new stuff if you treat them right. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we're looking at a drawing. Most of our day is spent on the floor, getting our hands dirty and making sure the parts fit like they should. It’s a lot of manual labor and checking measurements twice. Sometimes we run out of a specific material and have to wait for a delivery, which can be frustrating, but that's just part of the business. We know the other shop owners in the complex, and we help each other out when someone needs a tool. It's just a regular, working-class engineering shop doing what we can every day.
