Our place is on Kasera Street in Ambala Cantt, which is a pretty famous area for metalwork and shops. We’ve been at number 5053 for quite a while now. The street is very narrow and it’s always crowded with carts and people moving goods. You can hear the sounds of metal clanging and people shouting all day long. Our shop is packed with inventory, so there isn’t much room to move around once you get inside. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly managing the stock and talking to the people who stop by. Ambala winters get very cold, so we usually have a small heater running near the desk while we go through the books. We don’t have a fancy sign or a polished front, just a heavy metal shutter that we pull up every morning. Most of the people we deal with are regulars who have been coming here for years. We handle the orders as they come in and try to keep things organized, even though the shelves are overflowing. It’s a bit of a struggle to find things sometimes, but we know where everything is hidden. It’s just a standard small business in a busy market. We don’t do anything special, we just open the doors and get to work until it’s time to go home. It is just a typical shop in a typical street.
