Lecturer

I’ve been living in House Number 521 in Sector 28, Faridabad, for quite a while now. Haryana is where I’ve made my life, and being a lecturer is what I do for work every day. Sector 28 is a fairly settled area, and it’s a good spot for someone like me who needs a bit of peace to focus on academic stuff and lesson plans. My house is a typical suburban home, nothing too fancy or modern. I have a room dedicated to my books and piles of papers because there’s always something new to read or a set of exams that need grading. The daily grind involves heading out to the institution, standing in front of a class for several hours, and then coming back here to prep for the next morning. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of writing on chalkboards. Faridabad has grown so much lately, but my little corner stays more or less the same. I know most of my neighbors, and we usually exchange a few quick words while I’m heading out or coming back home. Teaching isn't always easy, and sometimes the students can be a real handful, but it’s what I’m trained for and I do it. I don’t really do much else besides my work and taking care of the place. On weekends, I might try to catch up on some reading that isn’t related to the college syllabus, but I usually end up back at my desk anyway. It’s a quiet life, but it suits me just fine for now.
