Lavanya Fashions

Lavanya Fashions has been sitting here at Shop No. 94 in the Sector 15 Market for some time now. It’s a good spot because the market stays lively from morning until late at night. We see a lot of the same faces coming by, which is nice. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we pile the clothes and set up the racks. Often, you will find us folding things or rearranging the front window to make it look decent. The floor is a bit old and the lights flicker sometimes, but it’s home to us. We don't do much fancy advertising; people just seem to find us while they are out getting their groceries or running other errands in the market. It can get quite cramped when more than three people come in at once, but we manage. There is usually a cup of tea sitting on the back counter somewhere. We take our time with folks and don't try to rush them out. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It's dusty during the dry months, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the shelves. We just show up every day, open the shutters, and see who walks through the door. It’s a simple way to run a business and it keeps us busy enough for now.
