Kahan Engineering

Our workshop is located at Plot Number 972 in Sector 9. Compared to the big industrial zones, this area is a bit quieter, but we still have plenty to keep us busy. Inside, we have our lathes and milling machines set up for all kinds of engineering work. Because the plot isn't huge, we have to be very organized to make sure we have enough room to move. You’ll usually find a project sitting on every available workbench and a few more waiting on the floor. There is no corporate ladder here; I’m usually right there on the floor with the guys. We get quite a few walk-ins from neighbors who need a small repair, and we do our best to help them out. The lighting isn't always perfect, so we use portable lamps when we're doing the really fine work. We don't spend any time on brochures or sales pitches. People mostly hear about us from their friends, which is the way we like it. We’ve stayed in business all these years by just being practical and getting the work done. A lot of tea gets drank here while we keep the machines running smoothly. It’s a regular neighborhood shop where we value hard work over anything else. We’ve been at this same spot in Sector 9 for a while now and don't plan on going anywhere as long as there is metal that needs cutting.
