Jogender Singh Bhati

I work out of the South Wing in Sector 12, Faridabad. My name is Jogender Singh Bhati, and this is where I spend most of my waking hours. The office is located in Unit 14, which is a fairly easy place to find if you are familiar with this part of the city. It’s a professional space but it feels lived in. There are folders piled up on the shelves and a few potted plants that I sometimes forget to water. I’ve been in this sector for years, watching the buildings go up and the roads get wider. Most of the people who come to see me are locals who need help with various bits of paperwork or advice on local projects. I don’t have a big staff, just a couple of people who help me keep things organized. We use old metal filing cabinets and the chairs are a bit squeaky when you sit down. It’s not a fancy corporate environment where everything is perfect. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window and wait for the generator to kick in. I like being in the South Wing because it feels like the heart of the sector. Every morning I walk from the parking lot and say hello to the same security guards and tea vendors. It’s a simple routine, and that’s what makes it work for me.
