Siyaram Engineering

Siyaram Engineering is located at House Number 1900 in Jawahar Colony, N.I.T. It’s not your typical commercial office building; it’s more of a home-grown workshop. We’ve set up our machines and welding equipment in a space that used to be part of the house. We do a lot of metal fabrication, small repairs, and custom engineering jobs for the people and businesses nearby. It can get pretty noisy when the grinders are going, so we try to be mindful of the neighbors in the colony. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have larger pieces of steel or equipment lying around the floor. We don't have a big sign or any kind of reception area. Usually, customers just knock on the door or come by the side where we do the work. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a very hands-on job where we spend most of the day with grease on our clothes and a welding mask nearby. We don't use any complicated business strategies. If someone needs a part made or something metal fixed, we just figure out the best way to do it with the tools we have. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we like the freedom of working in our own neighborhood. In the rainy season, the roof leaks a little in the corner, but we just keep working.
