Our office is at 1A-174 in NIT Faridabad. It is one of those places that’s easy to miss if you aren't looking closely at the building numbers. We have been here in Haryana for a long time now. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of filing cabinets that probably need to be cleared out one of these days. There is a specific rhythm to the day here. The power goes out sometimes, and we just wait for the generator to kick in so we can finish our emails. It is not like those big glass buildings you see over in Gurgaon. We are on the ground level and you can hear the street noise all day long. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together in the small back room. It usually smells like pickles and parathas around noon. We don’t really do big meetings or fancy presentations here. Usually, someone just yells across the room if they need a file or a pen. The address is 121001D, and that little 'D' at the end of the pin code sometimes confuses the courier guys. We just tell them to look for the big blue door near the corner. It’s a plain place, but it’s where we get everything done. We don't really care about having a shiny office as long as the work gets finished before the sun goes down and we can all head home.
