We operate out of House Number B 62 in Ashoka Enclave Part II, over in Faridabad. This is where we handle all our garment business. It's a residential area, so it's a bit quieter than a big industrial park, which is nice for us. We do a lot of work involving clothing exports and dealing with partners in the UK. The house is basically converted into our workspace. There are sewing machines in one area and stacks of fabric in another. It’s not a polished showroom. You’ll see threads on the floor and scraps of cloth everywhere. We’re a small group of people who know how to make clothes. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the stitching is good. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due to go out. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the designs while we work. It’s a bit crowded when we have a lot of material delivered, but we manage. My aunt used to say that if a shop is too clean, no real work is getting done. We definitely do a lot of work here. We just try to be decent people making decent clothes for a fair price. It's a family-style environment where we just get the job finished.
