Independant Consultant

I'm working as an Independant Consultant over here in Faridabad. My office is basically my place at number 69 in Sector 55. It’s a pretty standard residential area in Haryana. I’ve been doing this on my own for a while now because I prefer the freedom. I don't have a big staff or a receptionist. If you call, you're talking to me. Sector 55 is a good spot, it's fairly established and easy enough for people to find once they get into the sector. I handle various consulting jobs right from this desk. It’s a lot of hours sometimes, especially when you’re doing everything yourself. I chose to stay independent because it lets me focus on the work without all the office politics you get in big firms. My setup is very basic. I have my computer, my files, and a decent internet connection. That’s really all I need to get things done for the people I work with. Faridabad has changed a lot over the years, but this sector feels like home. I don't put on any airs. I'm just a guy working from a house in Haryana trying to do a good job. It’s not a corporate lifestyle, but it works for me. I usually have tea while I work and just get through the day's list. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but that’s just how it is around here. I use that time to organize my paper files or take a quick walk outside to clear my head.
