Hemsons Engineers

We have two plots here in Sector-59, numbers 18 and 31. Being part of the HSIDC area means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. It’s a very practical place to work. There aren't many trees, just a lot of concrete and metal. We do engineering work, mostly handling parts and assemblies. My hands are usually a bit greasy by lunch time, and most of the staff is the same. We started Hemsons Engineers because we knew how to work the machines and there was a need for it in this part of town. It’s not a glamorous life. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and checking measurements. If a machine breaks down, we stay late to fix it ourselves. The commute to Sector-59 can be a bit of a pain during the monsoon when the roads get muddy, but we manage. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor rather than behind a desk. We’ve had some of the same clients for ten years or more. They know they can just call us and we will figure out whatever problem they have with their equipment. It is just a straightforward business. We try to keep the noise down for the neighbors, but in an industrial area, that is not always possible. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
