Hasmukh Engineering

Hasmukh Engineering is located at Plot No. C-1-4511 in the G.I.D.C. Phase-4 area of Vatva. We are tucked right behind the Indo-German Toolroom, which is a pretty well-known spot on Mahemdabad Road. Our workshop is an active place, always filled with the smell of cutting oil and the sound of drills and lathes running. It’s not a quiet office job. We are usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grease by the end of the shift. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there from moving heavy machinery around over the years. We have a small cabin in the corner where the paperwork gets handled, but most of us are out on the floor. There’s a big sliding metal door that we keep open for ventilation, especially during the hot afternoons. We don't have any flashy signs or a sales department. Most of our work comes from people who know us and just drop by with a drawing or a part that needs fixing. We keep a stash of spare parts in the back that looks messy but we know exactly where everything is. The tea stall down the road is where we usually get our morning chai before starting the machines. It’s a basic engineering shop where we focus on getting the metal cut and the parts finished. It’s hard work, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years.
