Goyal Garments & General Store

Our shop is right in the Agarsen Market on Parsu Ram Road here in Palwal. Goyal Garments & General Store is basically where we spend all our time. It’s a small shop but we keep a lot of stuff inside. From clothes to small things you need for the house, it’s all crammed in. The morning starts with opening the shutters, which always makes a loud scraping noise. People from the neighborhood come by for small things like buttons or soap. It’s more of a community spot than a big business. We know most of the faces that walk in through the door. Sometimes we just talk about the weather or how the road is getting fixed very slowly. The market gets very crowded on the weekends especially. We have to keep an eye on the stock because things run out fast and the delivery van only comes once a week. It’s not a polished place, just a regular general store with shirts and socks hanging up from the ceiling. The shelves are a bit dusty sometimes, but we try to keep it organized for our customers. Parsu Ram Road is always busy with bikes and people walking. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just open the doors and wait for the day to start. It’s a lot of standing around and helping people find the right size or a specific household item. It’s just what we do every single day without any fancy tricks.
