Mod Wear Export

Mod Wear Export is at No. 1613/14 in Govindpuri. This is part of the larger Kalkaji area. Our building is tucked away in one of the many busy streets of Govindpuri. It is a very crowded neighborhood where everyone lives and works very close together. The building we are in is tall and narrow. We use several floors for our export work. The stairs are a bit steep and can be a real struggle when we are carrying heavy bundles of clothes up and down. We do not have an elevator, so we get plenty of exercise every single day. The rooms are filled with piles of fabric and finished items waiting to go out to the shippers. Kalkaji is a busy place, and the sounds of the market and the street find their way into our workspace constantly. We have a few windows that look out onto the neighbor's balcony where they dry their laundry. It is a very local way of working. We do not have a corporate board room or fancy meetings in glass offices. We usually just talk over the piles of work on the tables. Mod Wear Export is a small but steady operation. We know the people on our street and often see them when we step out for a quick break. The street is so narrow that cars can barely pass each other without stopping. We have lived and worked in this area for years. It is a real place.
