Gee Kaay Engineering Works

Gee Kaay Engineering Works is located over at No. 32-D/3 in the D. L. F. Industrial Area Phase-I. If you know this area, you know it’s mostly about getting things built and repaired. It’s loud and dusty around here most days, but that is the nature of an industrial zone. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard unit among many others. Inside, we have our machines and tools spread out. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We have been in this part of Phase-I for quite some time now. The neighbors are mostly other workshops and small factories doing their own thing. Sometimes we have to move stuff out onto the pavement just to make room to work on a bigger piece. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere; it’s a place where we actually handle metal and parts. Traffic in the industrial area can be a real headache, especially when the big trucks are trying to navigate these narrow roads. We usually start early in the morning to beat the worst of the heat and the crowds. People find us because they need something fixed or made, not because we have a shiny storefront. It’s a practical space for practical work, and that’s basically all there is to it.
