We are located inside the Manhattan Mall in Sector 20 A. If you know the main Mathura Road, you probably know where the Magpie Tourist Complex is. Well, we are right opposite that. Being in a mall means there’s always air conditioning, which is nice during those Faridabad summers. It gets really crowded on the weekends though. Sometimes the parking is a nightmare. We’re just a small team running Garima Retails. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and trying to keep the displays looking okay. It’s hard because kids like to move things around. My desk is tucked in the back where it’s a bit quieter. I usually have my lunch there while looking at the CCTV. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just sell stuff. The mall security guys are friendly enough and we chat with the neighbors from the other shops during the slow hours in the mornings. Old Faridabad has changed a lot lately, but this corner stays busy. We’ve been here for a bit and we’ve seen shops come and go. We just try to keep things moving. Sometimes the lift breaks down and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which isn't fun. But that's just how it is working in a place like this. Not much else to tell really. We're just here every day from ten in the morning until eight at night. It's a living.
