Export Surplus Shilpi Garments is located right on the Pathwari Mandir Link Road. It is quite easy to find us because the temple is a big landmark for everyone around here. You can usually hear the bells ringing in the morning while we are opening up the shop. We deal with surplus clothing, which means our stock is always changing based on what we can get our hands on. One week we might have a lot of jackets, and the next it’s all summer shirts. The shop is on the Link Road, so there are always cars and bikes zooming past the front door. We keep the racks pretty full, sometimes so full that it is hard to walk through the aisles. It’s a simple place with plain walls and some old mirrors we put up years ago. People from the nearby neighborhoods stop in when they are passing by the temple. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who handle the sales and keep the clothes folded, or at least we try to keep them folded. It gets messy when a lot of people are looking through the piles. We just want to sell good clothes for a fair price without all the extra stuff you get at the big stores. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the back door, but we just put a bucket there and keep going.
