Embro House is over at Plot No. 21 on Street No. 6 in Navlu Colony. We are really close to the railway station, so you can always hear the trains passing by. It’s a sound we’ve gotten used to over the years. Our place is tucked away in a residential-style street, which makes it feel more like a community spot than a cold business office. We do a lot of embroidery work here. You’ll usually see threads of all colors and different fabrics spread out across our tables. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes because we are always in the middle of a project. The lighting in the shop is something we really care about since the work is so detailed. We aren't a big factory; we are just a small group of people who enjoy working with our hands. Being near the station is handy for getting supplies in, though the traffic can be a mess during rush hour. Most of our neighbors in Navlu Colony are friendly and stop by just to say hello or ask for a quick fix on a garment. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny storefront. We just rely on the quality of what we make and the word of mouth from people who’ve been here. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, surrounded by patterns and needles. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, but we enjoy the quiet of Street No. 6 at night.
