Durga Trading Company

Our company, Durga Trading Company, is located right near the Agro Sardar Singh Market on Railway Road in Palwal. If you know Palwal at all, you know that Railway Road is one of the busiest and most crowded streets you can find. There is always something happening outside, with trucks loading and unloading and people shouting over the loud noise of the traffic. We are located very close to the market, so it is convenient for moving goods back and forth throughout the day. The office we use is just a small room with a couple of old chairs and a big wooden desk. It is usually covered in various invoices and paper ledgers. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or just talking to the drivers who come in to see us. The building is a bit on the old side, and the stairs are quite steep to climb. It gets very dusty because of all the grain and other stuff moving through the market right nearby. We usually keep a big jug of water and some glasses on the table for anyone who stops by to talk. The heat in the summer months is quite something, but we have a small cooler that helps a little bit. My father started this business and now I am here most days, just trying to keep everything moving. It is a hectic way to spend the day, but it is what we do.
