Kakkar Traders

Our shop, Kakkar Traders, is located at 779/2 Krishna Market Link Road. It is a pretty busy spot, especially in the mornings when all the other shopkeepers are rolling up their metal shutters. The sound of those shutters is basically our alarm clock. We have been in this part of the market for a good while now. The Link Road always has a lot of traffic, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns backgrounding everything we do. Inside, the space is mostly filled with our stock and a couple of wooden chairs that have seen better days. We don't really bother with fancy decorations or bright lights because that is not what we are about. We just open up, check what came in the previous day, and start the paperwork. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we spend a bit of time dusting off the counters before the first people walk in. It is a simple routine that we have followed for years. We usually have tea delivered from the stall around the corner twice a day. The market has its own way of working, and we are just a small piece of that. We do our trading, talk to the regulars who have been coming here as long as we can remember, and try to keep things organized. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know and how we spend our days at 779/2.
