Devi Charan Mukat Lal

Devi Charan Mukat Lal is situated right at the Aggarsain Chowk in Ballabhgarh. It is a very busy spot to be in. If you stand at our front door, you can see all the chaos of the intersection all day long. We have been part of this community for a long time. The shop is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We don’t have any of that modern corporate feel. It’s just a simple counter and shelves filled with what we have in stock. People come in and out, often just stopping for a quick chat before they move on with their day. We open up the shutters early in the morning and don't close them until late at night. During the summer, the heat can get quite intense since we are right on the road. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day to keep the air moving. There is no big marketing plan here. We just try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. The name Devi Charan Mukat Lal has been above the door for years, and we don't plan on changing it. It is a family thing, really. We've seen kids grow up and start coming in on their own. Ballabhgarh is a loud place, but we like the energy of the chowk. It’s just a regular business doing regular things every day.
