We are a Bhangra group located right here in Palwal. It’s just a bunch of us who love to dance and perform at local events. Most of the time we are called for weddings or community celebrations around town. We don't have a big office or anything, we mostly coordinate from our homes here in Palwal. When we have a performance coming up, we meet up to go over the steps and make sure everyone knows what they are doing. The costumes are bright and we take care of them ourselves. It takes a lot of energy to do Bhangra for a long time, so we stay pretty active. We aren't professionals in the sense that we do this for movies, but we are well-known in the local area. People know Deepak Rana and the group because we’ve been around for years. We just enjoy the tradition and the way it brings people together. If someone wants us to perform, they usually just reach out through someone they know. We don't do much advertising. We just show up, put on the music, and start dancing. It’s a simple life but it keeps us happy and keeps the traditions alive in Palwal. We always try to bring a lot of noise and energy whenever we go. It’s hard work on the legs, but when the crowd starts clapping, we forget about being tired and just keep going.
