Classic General Store

Classic General Store is tucked away on Kheri Road, near the old Aggarsain Chowk. We’ve been serving this corner of the neighborhood for quite some time now. It’s a typical general store, so we have a little bit of everything squeezed onto the shelves. From soap and snacks to basic household items, we try to keep the essentials in stock. The place isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of space, even stacking things up near the ceiling. It can be a bit hard to find things sometimes, but we usually know exactly where everything is hidden. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. Most people know we are here just by word of mouth. The morning rush is usually the busiest when people are heading out to work and need to grab something quickly. We know most of our customers by their first names and often end up chatting about the weather or the local news while we ring things up. We don't use a fancy scanner; we just count it up and give you the total. The door squeaks a bit when you open it, and we’ve been meaning to oil it, but we never quite get around to it. It’s just a simple, honest shop where we do our best to keep the neighborhood supplied with what they need. We aren't trying to be anything more than that.
