Chaher Engineering Works

Our workshop is situated at No-43 in Trikha Colony, right off Tigaon Road. This is in the Ballabgarh taluka, and it’s a fairly busy little spot. We do engineering work, mostly involving metal and various repairs. The shop is small and can get quite cramped when we have a lot of projects going on at once. There are heaps of scrap metal in the corner that we keep meaning to clear out, but we never quite get around to it. The road outside is always full of motorcycles and the occasional cow wandering past. It’s a local neighborhood, so we know the shopkeepers next door and the people living in the houses nearby. The light inside isn't the best, so we often do the heavier work right near the front entrance where the sun comes in. Our tools are old but they still work perfectly fine for what we need. We don't have a fancy office or a secretary. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and answers it. It’s hard work and your hands are always black with grease by the end of the day. But it is what we do. People from around the colony bring us things to fix because they know we are right here on Tigaon Road and we’ve been doing this for years.
