Brijwasi Sweets Houses

Started in Sector 63 a while back. It’s mostly just us getting here early in the morning to start the boilers and get the milk going. The area has changed a lot with all the offices around now, but we just keep doing what we do. People come in for a quick bite or to take stuff home after work. Sometimes the shop gets really crowded in the evenings and it’s hard to keep up with the orders, but we manage. We don’t have fancy seating or anything, just a basic counter and some shelves. The halwais in the back have been with us for years. They know exactly how much sugar goes into the kadai without even measuring it most of the time. It’s a lot of work keeping the glass cases clean because of all the dust from the road outside. We try to keep the floors swept but with people coming in and out all day, it’s a constant job. There isn't much to say about our history or anything like that. We just open the shutters at the same time every day and stay until the last tray is covered up at night. Sector 63 is a busy spot so there is always someone looking for something sweet. We just focus on getting the snacks ready and making sure the laddoos are fresh for whoever stops by on their way home.
