Bjs Engineers

We are set up in Sector 7, specifically at 526 Sector 7B. It's an engineering workshop, so there is always some kind of machine running or something being welded. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings. I spend a lot of my time looking at drawings or trying to figure out why a part isn't fitting right. It’s not a clean job, my hands are almost always stained with oil or dirt. We have a few lathes and some old equipment that still works better than the new stuff. People bring us sketches and ask if we can make it. Sometimes we can, sometimes we have to tell them it won't work that way. Being in Sector 7 is good because it's quiet enough to get the work done but close enough to the main spots. I’ve lived around here for years. The shop is more like a second home. I don't bother with fancy signs or advertisements. If someone needs something built or fixed, they usually find their way to 526. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking. If you miss a millimeter, the whole thing is ruined. It’s stressful but it’s what I know. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too loud outside. It's just us doing what we do every day with the metal and the machines. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a specific project for a local factory.
