Our place, Scalable Systems (P) Ltd, is situated at 3F-88 in the N.I.T. area of Faridabad. It’s one of those parts of town that has been around forever. The building isn't the newest on the block, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We are in the 121001 zip code, right in the heart of the Haryana industrial belt. There is always some sort of noise coming from the street, maybe a truck or just people shouting, but we’ve learned to tune it out. Inside the office, things are pretty straightforward. We have some tables, chairs, and our systems. It can get a bit hot during the summer months, so the fans are always going full blast. We don't have a big HR department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up. Most of us have been working here together for a long time, so we don't need many rules. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. Faridabad is a tough city sometimes, but it’s home. The N.I.T. area has everything you need if you're willing to look for it. We keep our doors open and just try to get through the daily tasks without too much fuss. It is a simple setup for a simple team.
