Hybrid Architect & Construction

Our shop is number 9 in the World Street Mall, over in Sector 81. It’s quite close to the Escorts Mujesar Metro Station, so it’s easy for people to reach us without getting stuck in too much traffic. We handle both architecture and construction at Hybrid Architect & Construction. It’s a bit of a mix. Half the time we are sitting at the desks drawing up plans and looking at computer screens, and the other half we are out at dusty construction sites in Sector 81. The mall is a modern place, but our office feels like a workshop. There are usually samples of tiles, wood, and bricks lying around everywhere. We don't really have a showroom; we just show people what we’re working on. It gets busy during the day with clients coming in to discuss their house designs. We don't go for any of that corporate talk. We just explain what can be built and how much it might cost. Construction always has its surprises, like a shipment being late or a wall not being quite right, so we spend a lot of time fixing those small problems. Being near the metro is great because we can jump on a train to see suppliers or visit sites in other parts of the city. We’re just a small group of people who like building things and seeing a project go from a drawing to a real structure. It’s hard work, but we enjoy it.
