Amit Alloys (India)

Amit Alloys is located right across from the Government of India Press. If you are looking for us, we’re in the Laxmi Rattan Complex in N.I.T. It’s a pretty easy landmark to spot because of the press. Working with alloys means there’s always a lot going on here. The complex itself has a lot of movement, people coming and going all day. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make it a bit of a headache to get materials in and out, but we manage. We’ve stayed in this 27/1 spot for a long time. It’s not the newest building, but it works for what we do. The noise from the press across the way is something you just get used to after a week or so. Inside, it’s mostly just piles of metal and the usual office stuff tucked in the corner. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just provide what's needed when people ask for alloys. It gets hot in the summer, really hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast. Most of the guys here have lived in this area their whole lives. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy knows all our orders. It’s a decent place to work if you don’t mind getting your hands a bit dirty now and then. We just stay busy with the day's orders and make sure the deliveries go out.
