We deal with chemicals, which means our day involves a lot of handling drums and checking containers. It’s a gritty environment, not like an office job. There is usually a bit of a smell from the stock, but you get used to it after a while. We sell to different small units and factories around the city. Mathura Road is a lifeline for us because of the transport links. Our setup is simple—some storage space, a small area for paperwork, and a spot for loading. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because it wouldn’t make sense for the kind of work we do. It’s about getting the materials to the people who need them for their own production. Sometimes the logistics get messy when the traffic is bad on the highway, which happens a lot. We just deal with it. It’s a local operation run by people who have been in this trade for years.
