Goyal Building Materials

The shop is over in Prem Nagar, right on Station Road. If you know where the G I C Inter College is, then you’ve probably walked past Goyal Building Materials a hundred times. We get a lot of noise from the station and the students walking by after their classes finish. It’s a busy little corner of Bharthana. We mostly spend our time moving bags of cement or stacks of bricks around the yard. It’s dusty work and by the end of the day, our clothes usually show it. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team telling people what to buy. People just come in when they’re building a new wall or fixing a roof. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when things are slow and just watch the traffic on Station Road. My cousin helps out when it gets really busy during the construction season. Chogurjee Nagar is a good neighborhood, everyone knows everyone else. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of sand get a bit messy after a rain. We've got most of the basics that people need for their homes. It’s just a regular yard where we do our business every day. No big speeches about values, just selling building stuff to neighbors who need it for their projects.
