Unique Infotech is right on Nalli Hospital Road in Erode. If you’re looking for us, we’re tucked into the Veerappanchatram area, surrounded by a lot of other small shops and houses. The shop isn't very big, and honestly, it can get a bit crowded with all the computer towers and spare monitors we have stacked up near the back. We mostly spend our days fixing laptops that won't turn on or helping people get printouts of their documents. There is usually a tangle of cables behind the main counter and a faint smell of solder if we’ve been working on a motherboard that morning. Customers come in from the Municipal Colony area all day, usually in a hurry because their internet is down or their keyboard stopped working. We keep a few stools for people to sit on while they wait, but most just stand by the door and chat. It gets quite dusty because of the traffic on the road outside, so we’re constantly wiping down the display cases. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; people mostly find out about us by word of mouth or because they were visiting the hospital nearby. It is a small operation, just a few of us trying to keep up with the repairs and selling the odd mouse or keyboard when someone needs one. We stay open until late evening most days because that’s when people finish work and bring their tech problems to us.
