Textile & Garments Exporters Association

We are located at H-97 B in Periyar Nagar. Being the Textile & Garments Exporters Association, we spend a lot of our time dealing with the various people who come through our doors. Periyar Nagar is a decent area, mostly quiet compared to some of the industrial zones, but we stay busy. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It's got the basic furniture, some filing cabinets that are probably too full, and a few old chairs for visitors. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. People come here when they need help with paperwork or want to know what's happening in the garment sector. We try to keep things organized, though some days the piles of documents seem to grow on their own. We've been at this address for a good while, so most of the local exporters know exactly where to find us. It’s a lot of administrative work, which isn't always exciting, but it’s necessary for the trade to keep moving. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the records. The lighting in the back room is a little dim, but we manage just fine. It’s just a practical space for practical people. We don't put on any acts here. If you come by, you'll just see us working through the daily list of things to do. That is just our normal routine.
