You’ll find us at 1-9 Easwaran Kovil Street, inside the Vardhini Plaza building. It’s a busy spot, especially on festival days when everyone is out shopping for new things. At Manick Fashion, we spend most of our time dealing with clothes and all the various bits and pieces that go into making them. The shop is often crowded with stock because we try to keep a good variety on hand for anyone who walks in. It’s not one of those high-end boutiques where everything is spaced out perfectly. We have racks and shelves filled to the brim, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when there are more than a few people inside at the same time. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many shops come and go in Vardhini Plaza. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the stock we have in front of us. The lighting in the plaza isn't always the best, so we often have to help customers see the real colors of the fabric by moving closer to the doorway. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding all day long, which can get tiring for the back after a few hours. We don't have a big fancy website or anything. We just rely on the people walking by and the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a simple retail life, and we’re just trying to make sure the clothes are decent and the prices are fair.
