South India Linen Manufacturer (P) Ltd

We have been running South India Linen Manufacturer (P) Ltd for a while now from our spot at 102, Kasianna Street. It is a busy place where we handle a lot of fabric and threads every single day. If you walk down Kasianna Street, you can probably hear the machines humming through the windows. The building isn’t much to look at from the outside, but inside we stay quite busy with the stacks of linen. Our workers have been here for years and they know the rhythm of the place well. Sometimes the dust from the fabric gets everywhere, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the floor. We spend most of our time checking the rolls of cloth and making sure the counts are right before anything goes out the door. It is honest work and it keeps a lot of us occupied from morning until evening. The street outside is usually crowded with trucks and people moving things around, so there is never really a quiet moment. We don’t have a fancy front office or anything like that because most of our space is taken up by the looms and the storage areas. People around here know us as the linen folks. We just focus on getting the day's work finished and making sure the fabric is handled properly by the guys in the back. It is just a normal day-to-day operation here on this narrow street.
