Kongu Tex

We are over at 114 Arunagiri Nather Street in Chennimalai. It is a quiet enough street most days, which we like. We have been in the textile business for a while, and this building has been our base for quite some time. We do a lot of the work right here, so you can often hear the sound of machines if you walk past. It isn't a huge factory, just a decent-sized space where we can get our work done without too many distractions. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. We have our routines, like starting early in the morning before it gets too hot. Sometimes we have a little trouble with the power, but we just find something else to do until it comes back on. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we would rather focus on making sure the fabric is right. My brother handles the deliveries and I stay here to watch the production side of things. It is a simple setup but it works for us and our families. We aren't interested in being the biggest name out there; we just want to do a good job and keep our customers coming back to Chennimalai. It feels good to be part of the community here. There is always someone stopping by for a chat or to see what we are working on currently.
