We are situated at number 10 on the Erode Main Road in Kollampalayam. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of traffic passing right in front of our doors. Being on the main road means we get a lot of dust from the buses and lorries, so we are constantly cleaning off the counters. We started this business because we wanted to have something of our own in this part of town. The building is simple, and we use every bit of space we have for storage and working. Most days are spent talking to suppliers or helping people who pull over because they saw our sign. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a place of work. We handle a variety of goods, and things can get a bit cluttered when a new delivery arrives. Sometimes we have to move stuff out onto the pavement just to make room to walk inside. The people around here in Kollampalayam are friendly, and we’ve gotten to know many of the regulars who stop by just to say hello. We try to keep regular hours, but sometimes we stay late if there is a lot of inventory to count. It is a steady life, and we like being part of the local community on this side of Erode. We just take things one day at a time.
