Our place is at J- 26, K- 10/ 11 inside the Sipcot Industrial Growth Center in Perundurai. It’s a large industrial area, so there are always trucks and workers moving around outside. Indian Stitches Pvt. Ltd. fits right in with the other factories and units here. Inside, you’ll hear the constant sound of machines. It’s pretty noisy, but you get used to it after the first few days. We’ve been operating out of Perundurai for a while now. The layout of the building is a bit confusing if you’re new, with different sections for different tasks. We try to keep things moving in an order way, but on busy days, it can look a bit messy. The floor is always covered in small bits of thread and fabric scraps. We sweep up at the end of the day, but it’s back the next morning. Our workers come from the nearby villages and towns. Some have been with us since we first opened. It’s hard work, and the summer heat makes the metal roof quite hot. We have some big fans going, but they mostly just move the warm air around. Still, nobody complains much. We just focus on the stitching and making sure the counts are right. It’s a straightforward industrial job. We aren't trying to be anything other than a solid workshop in the middle of a busy growth center.
