Nachaa Apparels

You can find Nachaa Apparels at 175/1 on the Erode Main Road, over in Kullampalayam, Gobi. We are right on the road, so it’s easy for people to spot us when they are driving by. We do a lot of garment work, mostly focused on everyday wear. The shop is filled with rolls of cloth and thread of all colors. It’s a family-run kind of place, and we’ve been in Gobi for a long time. We have a few local ladies who come in to do the stitching and finishing. The Erode Main Road is always busy, so there is a lot of noise from the buses and bikes outside. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the needles clicking. We don't do anything too complicated, just good, solid stitching for the clothes we produce. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread and have to wait for the delivery, which can be annoying, but we make do with what we have. We don't have a big glossy catalog or anything. People usually just come in and see what we are working on at the time. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the fabric cutting, there are always bits of thread on the floor. It’s a humble operation, and we like it that way. We just want to keep making clothes that people can actually use. That’s what we do every day without fail.
