Deepam Fabrics

Deepam Fabrics is based at No. 1218-B in EB colony, Lakshmi Nagar, Bhavani. We’ve been a part of this community for years. Bhavani is a place where almost everyone knows something about textiles, so we fit right in. Our location in Lakshmi Nagar is fairly quiet compared to the main market area. We work out of a modest building where we store and sort various kinds of fabrics. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving heavy rolls around and making sure they are kept clean and dry. The smell of the place is something you never forget—it’s that mix of cotton and dyes. We aren't a big company with many layers of management. It’s just us, handling the daily chores of a fabric business. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the weaves and talking to the people who supply us. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to see the weavers, but mostly we are right here at No. 1218-B. Our neighbors are regular families, so we try not to be too loud with the loading and unloading. We don’t have any fancy websites or ads. Word of mouth is usually how people find us. We’ve kept things simple for a long time, and we don't see any reason to change that now. It’s just steady work in a town we like.
