K.M.R College Of Pharmacy is situated right on Erode Road in Perundurai. Our post box is number 25, which is how a lot of our mail gets sorted. Being in this part of Tamil Nadu, the weather is often quite hot, so the college buildings are designed to keep the air moving as much as possible. It is a place where you’ll see students walking around with their lab coats and books most of the time. The campus isn't overly complicated to navigate. We have the different labs and lecture halls all within a short walk of each other. Since we are on the main road, there is always the sound of buses and trucks going by, which you just get used to after a few days. The staff room is usually a bit of a mess with papers and tea cups, which is how most busy places look. We focus on the pharmacy coursework, so there are a lot of mentions of chemicals and medicines throughout the day. People come from all over the local area to study here. It is a practical sort of place. There aren't any fancy fountains or manicured lawns, just the buildings and the equipment needed for the classes. We keep the gates open during the day and there is usually someone sitting at the front to see who is coming and going. It’s just how things work here for everyone involved in the daily grind.
