K S Rams Earth Movers

Started out at Vellapari Thottam. We've got the machinery here for digging and moving dirt. It's mostly me and a few guys. We stay busy around Bhavani. People call us when they need a site cleared or something leveled. It’s hard work but we know the land around here. The yard is easy to find in Paruvachi. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the equipment and the shed. If you drive past the 2/2 address, you'll see the yellow machines parked up. We’ve been at it for a while now. Most days we are out on a job site somewhere nearby. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, but we get through it. My family has been in this area for a long time. We just try to do what we said we would do. No big speeches or sales pitches here. Just some local guys with diggers. If the machine is free, we take the job. It’s pretty straightforward. We keep the machines running and try to stay out of trouble. It's a local business through and through. Nothing more to it really. We aren't trying to be the biggest in the state. We just want to finish the work and go home. Sometimes the machines are old and cranky, but they get the job done. We spend a lot of time on maintenance when we aren't digging. It’s a simple life for us.
