Dinesh Earth Movers

Dinesh Earth Movers is run out of Selvi Illam, which is over at 266 Kumalan Kuttai. It’s more of a home-office setup than a big corporate building, which is how we like it. The yard is usually full of dirt or some piece of equipment that needs a bit of grease. Working with earth movers means things are never really clean around here. There is always a layer of dust on the desks and the sound of heavy engines idling nearby. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where the machines need to go next. Kumalan Kuttai is a decent area, but it gets busy with all the construction going on lately. Selvi Illam is easy to spot once you get onto the right street. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the machinery and the paperwork that comes with it. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, but mostly they just wave when we go by. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when a project is running behind. We usually eat our lunch right there at the desk or out in the yard if the weather is okay. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve been operating from this address for a while now, and the routine of checking the oil and signing off on jobs is just second nature to everyone here.
